Keep the data. Lose the spreadsheet.
Most manufacturers start ShapedOps with an Excel sheet someone has kept for years. We bring it in — orders and contacts — and from then on each order moves through real stages, with documents and WhatsApp updates at every step.
An Excel order sheet compared with ShapedOps
The sheet isn't the problem. The problem is that only one person knows which version is right — and the buyer can't see any of it.
Four steps, checked before anything is saved.
Orders and contacts both import the same way. Nothing is written until you've seen the preview.
Upload
An .xlsx, .xls or .csv file — the sheet you already keep.
Match columns
Your column headers are matched to fields automatically, and you can adjust any match.
Preview
Each row is validated. Possible duplicates — the same email or phone — are flagged, within the file and against what's already in ShapedOps.
Import
Valid rows are created; duplicates and invalid rows are skipped, with a result for every row.
Your columns become fields. Your rows become orders.
Whatever your sheet tracked that ShapedOps doesn't have out of the box becomes a custom field, set up with you during implementation.
